I grew up with a mother who was obese and spent my entire life dreading the thought of following in her footsteps...
During my first pregnancy, she passed away from stage IV breast cancer. I had a twin pregnancy shortly after, having three boys in 2 years.
I was overjoyed by the arrival of my children but this intense period of stress linked to the death of my mother brought on many health complications: 35 pounds to lose, periodontal disease, chronic back pain, heart palpitations, tinnitus, acne and depression.
I turned to the sciences of naturopathy and whole foods plant-based nutrition in order to release the excess weight and improve all of my symptoms that were physically and emotionally draining me.
This metamorphosis provided me with the tools and drive necessary
to help other busy moms reach their goals and transform their lives.
With 32+ years of personal experience as a vegetarian, vegan, and high raw vegan, I understand the unique challenges and joys of embracing and implementing plant nutrition, especially within a family unit composed of individuals eating differently.
Even as a busy mom with three young children and limited time for myself, I was able to shift my mindset and make a sustainable transformation.
